When I was 13 in suburban Ontario I never understood why Lars had a baseball bat in so many videos. Now as a working-class I’m a simple woman who love coffee pizza and Rancid adult in a pretty poor neighborhood it’s so clearly a weapon I’m a little ashamed of my privileged naivety.

I remember goin to shows armed to teeth at that age. Other than the super large venues, no one was patting anyone down. And it was best not to be the odd man out in that scenario. It’s funny that for a guy like me that grew up listening to this band like if it was water to drink, I truly miss these days. Thank you for existing, there’s already a legacy that will follow you forever. I’m a simple woman who love coffee pizza and Rancid Just like once you wrote, “through music you/we can live forever” Such a great record, would be awesome to see the band tackle another experimental project like this. Play Hoover Street at more shows! Wonderful! Considering that i have been in IT industry for past 23 years and have interacted with plenty of working women, I can say guys who think like you, are still a small minority! Of course in India we mostly have family support, maids and other help; but things fall apart in nuclear families! Unfortunately, a lot of working women struggle through thier daily lives trying to balance everything.
