During the Vietnam “conflict,” I had many cousins who were drafted. Some came home, some did not. As a consequence of this “conflict” I still bear hatred for Hanoi Jane. She and many others, disrespected our warriors in Vietnam Vietnam veteran what is an Vietnam veteran who were supposed to be there as advisers but had to defend themselves. Thank you, each and everyone of you that served during that horrible “conflict’.
Vietnam veteran what is an Vietnam veteran shirt
Being originally from the Pittsburgh area, I grew up watching Rocky Bleier play. I recall thinking that he wasn’t as good of a running back as Franco Harris. Then I learned what happened to Rocky in Vietnam, what the doctors said about not being able to run again, Vietnam veteran what is an Vietnam veteran what he did to overcome the negativity. It was at this moment that I gained a new hero and realized that he may very well be the best running back ever to play the game. The lesson I learned was that being your best and aiming for the stars is more important than how you compare to others.
All around a great accomplishment. However, not every Vietnam Vet had your success, and certainly don’t share your opinion of Vietnam Vets, they are still waiting for their Super Bowl ring. Contact me for more information, I too am working on making the VA more responsible. I met Rocky Bleier In 1983 at the dedication ceremony for the Vietnam Memorial In Brandywine Park Delaware. I was part of the Marine Corps Color Guard that consisted of higher ranking Marines. There were also others there that at least they saw themselves as important. At the conclusion of the ceremony everyone went up to meet Rocky and I was left standing in the back of the crowd. As he approached the group he looked around and seen me (a Corporal) in the back. He left all the big wigs standing with outstretched hands as he walked straight through them to shake my hand first. Thanks Rocky I’ll never forget the looks on their faces.
