Fine, he spoke, don’t like it but I can deal…but the whole reason he speaks is dumb. He doesn’t go in because he always wants to be with ash? Pikachu hated being in the Pokeball even before he met ash, even the prof says it. So that line is just stupid.
Pokemon Gengar shirt or hoodie
Maybe that was the start of it but he would have trusted ash if he asks to go in the Pokeball but the bond where he wanted to be outside and always be around him, that was the reason, ash was willing to save him in that first episode which carried on the bond which Pikachu saw, he prob had another trainer that kept him in the Pokeball all the time. Firstly professor oak caught Pikachu and states that this Pokémon doesn’t like being in a Pokeball and will just have to follow you around (Pokémon yellow and the manga ) he really didn’t need to talk there was no point to it. It just abruptly pulls you out of the movie as it didn’t fit. Pokemon Gengar. For 20 years, we have been told that Pikachu never speaks, he doesn’t like to be captured in a pokéball whatsoever, and Pikachu is a male, and the voice actor for Pikachu is female and that is something you can spot.

also the line is very stupid, the whole movie is stupid and has ruined a pretty big part of one my favorite Childhood animes. The new movie should be a celebration of the pokémons 20th anniversary, so the movie is just the entire indigo league series compressed into a movie, and we do also know that pokémon is region specific, which means pokémon found in the wild of the Kalos Region, doesn’t appear in The Kanto Regional. In this movie, well knowingly, it takes place in Kanto Region, but we see pokémons in the wild and trainers who have pokémon from other regions than Kanto, and brock and misty doesn’t even appear in the movie except a very very brief moment, but they don’t even join ash on his Journey as in the anime.
