I just got home from watching Bohemian Rhapsody. I am left speechless. This was the best movie I have ever watched. It takes you on an unexpected journey of this legendary band. My patronus is Freddie Mercury You laugh, you cry, you smile, every emotion is brought out. It’s so inspiring and raw. No sex. No violence. Very little cursing and still knocked it out of the ballpark! I have a completely new respect for them. All hail Queen.

First with the X-Men franchise, now with Freddie Mercury’s life… Bryan Singer has no understanding of how timelines work. I do highly commend the actors’ phenomenal performances but Singer deserves nothing other than a slap in the face for using AIDS as a plot device to manipulate viewers’ emotions, falsely leading people to believe Freddie’s motivations were driven by his terminal illness. My patronus is Freddie Mercury What an insult to the man. I hope there’s a director’s cut release from Dexter Fletcher that corrects the wrongdoing.
I am supposed to go see it next weekend and so excited to see it. I have loved Queen since I was a young kid and their music is as relevant today as it was before he died. Because if you did and you still say this, you’re wrong. It was co-directed by Queens bandmates Roger Taylor, the drummer and Brian May, the lead guitarist. Who oversaw all production, including Freddie’s personal assistant Peter Firestone. All the events in the movie did actually happen, just not in the same time frame,. this according to Peter Firestone who was interviewed. You can watch that on u-tube. So no lies in the movie.
