Absolutely, it also exists the other way. I think it’s more of a universal attitude: respect others, no matter if they work at McDonald’s or in a bank. No matter what color, social background, etc. they have. However, people are often valued not for being human, but for what they represent. I am one of the many Filipino domestic helper here in Hong Kong. What you said in the video was so true. Thank you for making this video. It’s so inspiring and it makes me proud to be one of them cause what the work we do is a decent job. Even our employer never treat as fairly but we still do our best to do our job. And inspite of how they belittled us we still show them respect and take care of their kids as like our own. “No job can make us a worse person as long us we don’t hurt somebody”.
