Stop coming up with half-assed excused and just accept that the better team won. It’s time to focus on next season. I’m not yelling im an eagles girl we just talk loud At least he cheers for a team that’s in the area he’s from. Even if he couldn’t tell you who the QB was before Brady

Every time a receiver goes to line up he always checks with the side judge to make sure he’s lined up ok. The ref gave Alshon the ok so they can say he was lined up wrong all they want to. That’s on the side judge and that’s why there was no flag on the play. Just about every receiver in the league checks with the ref to get the ok they’re lined up correctly. Get over it! TD was complete. I’m not yelling im an eagles girl we just talk loud There was no bobble. He repositioned the ball while maintaining control and took two steps. HOF receivers Cris Carter, Greg Jennings (future HOFer), and Shannon Sharpe all agree that it was a catch. I think some of the best receivers to ever play the game know more about what a catch is than some rando Pats fan talking trash from his couch two weeks after his team got outplayed.
As for the alleged “illegal formation” on the Philly Special? You can clearly see Alshon Jeffery check with the line judge before getting set. The line judge is responsible for determining the LOS, and deemed that Alshon was on the line. That may have been the wrong decision, but because the line judge OK’d Alshon, there is no illegal formation on that play. That’s how the rule reads, and I’m shocked that Mike Pereira would completely forget that it is purely a judgement call by the line judge.
