I mean you can introduce her either in part 1 or doctor strange. Plus without death in the story, the whole meaning of Thanos’s character would be meaningless! If Thanos doesn’t worship death then infinity war is pointless

Not sure that this article really needed to even be written other than an author wanting to make a story quota. According to the Wikipedia page for the hotel, Trump hasn’t had anything to do with the property for 4 years. Is his name even still on it? Besides, there are TONS of details in the Infinity Gauntlet series that won’t make it to the screen. That’s just sort of how things translate from one medium to another. Kudos for having read the series to know what caused the devastation but how is this worth spending time writing? Much less reading?

The Chao’s Gauntlet. This article comes across more as the lazy clickbait-y content creation, to be honest. I expect this from the old Gawker media but honestly still hoped for more from io9. Makes me long for the Anders/Newitz days. It’s a moment in the comic that will doubtfully never happen in the movie because of our current POTUS and the political landscape resulting from his presidency. Io9 and most websites do make clickbait articles occasionally but this is the one to send you over the edge? Lighten up maybe. It’s sad that we still have to talk about this. When Marvel started making their own movies fans were treated to the most faithful adaptations yet. Now, after just a few years, everyone’s crying that they got a new updated story instead of the same one they’ve already read 20 times. I don’t want the movie adaptations to be exactly the same. I think it’s awesome when they say that it’s going to be based on a storyline I love because I’m going to get a fresh view of something I already love. It wouldn’t be pointless, just make his main motive a need for power and not an attempt at impressing the “chick” he loves. The Death aspect was always dumb, anyway.
