Snoopy and Woodstock never lose hope shirt
I first went to the Atlanta Pop Festival, hitched a ride with my friend Dottie Pickelsimer and a guy by the name of Van and four of his buddies. We went in a VW van. Then we went to the New Jersey Pop Festival, and then to the Woodstock Pop Festival. My picture wound up in the Special edition of Life Magazine. I am the girl with the wine bottle. I was a runaway and 16 years old at the time.

Snoopy and Woodstock never lose hope. I did with a guy I meet at the Cape don’t remember his name.bummed a ride some people from Cal. Gave us a ride all the way there.they had the road blocked for seven exits so we got out of the van and walked seven miles crazy but we did it .best time ever want to go back to those times peace be with you. I was a Colombian kid who met wonderful Oklahoma and Texan friends and hitches a ride in their VW van from Arkansas to New York and ended in Woodstock with them. Would love to hear from any of them. Went with my friends Tom, Coach, and Fitzy. Took us most of the day on Friday to get to the site from northern Nassau County. Saw all of Friday’s performances. We ran out of ice for our coolers and as a result, Tom and I got a bit of food poisoning, so we skipped. Saturday’s shows. We met up with Coach a Fitzy on Sunday morning, packed up camp, and left. We had summer jobs to beat on Monday. I was only 11 years old at the time. My family was driving home from a vacation in The Catskill Mountains on the New York Thruway 🙂 We were amazed at all the kids walking along the Thruway. So even though I was too young and didn’t attend, I enjoy remembering this moment
