Interesting little doco. I was a little disappointed that I didn’t see any of the imagery from the non-human light spectrum, converted so that we could see what they were talking about.

Absolutely amazing and such important research in the understanding of undersea creatures. One flaw in the presentation of this data, and one that is entirely predictable given humans’ arrogance in seeing themselves as being atop the animal kingdom. This is evident in viewing undersea creatures as aliens. They are completely at home in their aquatic environment. It is we who are the aliens under water. Humans are poorly adapted to live underwater. We have had to create artificial means to explore their home. I hope that we can explore their world without damaging or destroying it as we have done and continue to do in the above water realm.

Be kind to the animals!
Simple vintage humor funny rare animals of the world. So they never even showed the part I was most interested in. The new images and explaining how the new pics are different from the old. Like a before and after and saying “here’s how a dolphin sees an octopus.” Butterflies and Bees can see the Ultraviolet band of light that humans can not see. Many plain looking bland flowers, especially white flowers, look much Different under Ultraviolet Light! They can be an astonishingly Beautiful and have Complex hidden patterns. Especially when you touch on the fact that we need to look at animals like the octopus with different eyes, not our own but as an ocean creature! Their capabilities are definitely mind-blowing! Way to go- animals are only there to serve consumerism, capitalism and the military-industrial complex. No wonder the world is so screwed up. So many breakthroughs lately. I was exploring ocean floor on Google Earth yesterday and saw a huge rectangular structure with perfectly straight sides and perfectly square corners that could have walled in a very large city of Atlantis. It was fairly close to the Azores and appeared to be larger than any one of those islands. What are you taking on this? I think it might be worth ocean floor excavation
