my husband and I have been married for 11 years and together much longer. I met him when I was 16, I knew right from the moment I laid eyes on him that I wanted to marry him. We are all family dispatch corrections emt firefighter police military shirt Luckily for me he felt the same. We are that lovey dovey couple, we regularly have marathon movie nights, we rarely argue and he makes me laugh every single day.

I have 16yrs with mine, and we are still just as strong as ever. He helped me raise my daughter, we suffered through the loss of a fur baby together. As well as the loss off his parents, my grandmother and our home. The bonds of true love are always tested. It is how you choose to respond that keeps the relationship intact. My health is slowly deteriorating now, but he still chooses to stay by my side. We are all family dispatch corrections emt firefighter police military shirt And he does work a lot of long hours, sometimes having to travel for his job….. We have two children together one of whom has adhd (so no easy ride) and he has three older children who are now all grown and have children of their own. And yet….. we are still that couple, he is my best friend, i still get butterflies when he walks in the door just at the sight of him and I wouldn’t be without him. If you think it doesn’t exist after marriage and children then you are in the wrong relationship
Get it and hope you love it
Working on 21 years together…17 married. When we met, I had 3 kids, he had 2. I had 2 jobs, he had 3. We combined 3 families as his 2 kids had different moms…we worked hard and struggled for a long time. We lost my son in an accident. We have been through the deaths of all 4 of our parents (both of his and my mom in a 4 month window). Not all sunshine and roses, BUT not a day goes by that we do not make each other smile and feel loved at least once. It is often something as little as he bought me a favorite candy bar on the way home from work…or a quick ILoveYou text between meetings. Or maybe I woke up early and made him breakfast. Sometimes (like this past week) he says don’t plan dinner, and either brings food home, takes me out or comes home and cooks. This past week we babysat our grandson….first time away overnight from mom.
