If you don’t believe in good, that is no point in believing in any God, or Gods. I hate it when coworkers act like supervisors We also know there is only one good. from this realization everyone can be safe, and things gets much less complicated.

I suffer from debilitating chronic illness. And I get frustrated with friends and family who say things like “just be lucky you still have a foot, there are people with no feet” as if I’m not grateful. I understand that there are people who have it worse. So what this does when people say this to me on the rare occasion I need to vent, is it minimizes my own struggle. I hate it when coworkers act like supervisors There is always someone who has it worse. There is a difference between “complaining “ and “venting”. I’m all about trying to be positive and paying it forward. But sometimes the burden is too much to bear alone and I need to get it out. I won’t let anyone make me feel like I’m somehow a negative person because I need to voice my struggles.

Gratitude by comparing to others misfortunes is not gratitude. It is an unhealthy attempt to make yourself feel better for having more than someone else who has less. True gratitude is feeling fortunate for all the good things in your life. My advice is, you can’t change other people, you can only change yourself. I would stop “complaining” to those that talk to you like that so that you don’t get the response to hate. Or perhaps rephrase how you vent. This simple awareness of who and how you say things to should help. And then vent to the people they lift you up. Becarful not to become a chronic complainer.
