Considering that I see straight folks kissing/tongues down each other’s throats in public, unnecessary heterosexual drama in every television show, Photography floral when life gets blurry adjust your focus. heterosexuality/Heterosexual gaze in almost every ad or piece of media-pretty sure they don’t say ANYTHING to those things, so no it’s not an obnoxious thing.

It’s a gay thing No one likes to see that first one in public except for perverts, and the latter two are simply catering to the vast majority because, where only perverts like to see such things happen in public, most people enjoy seeing such things in private when it is their pleasure to do so. The fact is that when it comes to media that people consume privately, Photography floral when life gets blurry adjust your focus. you’re going to see violence because it sells and sex because it sells, and you’re going to see a lot more heterosexual sex because it is the norm, the average, what most people like. You end up with proportional representation, which is what should be desired. Let’s say there’s 100 romance movies. 98 of these movies will feature a heterosexual relationship in the first position, where 2 will feature exclusively homosexual focus. Possibly 10 of the 98 heterosexual romances will feature a secondary relationship of secondary characters which is homosexual, because many straight people can relate to the position of having a “gay friend”.

There’s nothing wrong with any of this hypothetical. This is proportional. The odd fact is that the media has so over represented LGBTQ for the past two decades that young people actually significantly inflate the perceived LGBTQ population from its real life 2-5% into a whopping 45% at the worst. The same thing occurs with black Americans. I myself even believed that black Americans were more populous than they are, when in reality they make up less than 15% of the American population. The whole Oscars scandal with not enough black people getting Oscars is insane when you know the actual figures, because they are almost precisely represented proportionally since civil rights were secured. We have a problem in this country where the media has a fetish for the concept of diversity to the point that we think there is far more of it than there actually is. We need to look at things realistically and give respect where it is due and not where it is unseemly. We shouldn’t get up in arms because things don’t cater to our demographic disproportionally, we should be satisfied with an accurate reflection of the actual population.
