Disney isn’t creative enough, they need to do something new with their underutilized IPs, like big hero 6, and maybe make a new movie about a culture underrepresented in film. Disneyland, is way too expensive which is makes it a pain in the butt. However I disagree about the whole animation thing. Clearly you haven’t seen any of their movies as of late.
I work to support my wife’s disney addiction shirt and more style
I just went to Disneyland for the first time in my life a few month’s back and I had the toughest day starting out! The line to get our park voucher had a weird confusing layout and by the time I realized we thought we were in line but not actually in line the line tripled and we had family waiting inside for us. I was so frustrated I was basically crying. Indiana Jones was down, pirates was down, haunted mansion was down (for Halloween decorating) and every time we got in line to take a picture with a Disney character we got turned away (5-8 times). It started to turn around when my Disney app showed Indiana Jones open at like 6 pm finally so we actually sprinted across the park and as we finished that pirates finally opened up. I work to support my wife’s disney addiction.

I just have to note, they never stopped “making” stuff, Disney Animation Studio is active and cranking out animated films every 1.5-2 years – and that’s not even including Pixar. You might not prefer that they aren’t hand-drawn anymore, but watch some behind the scenes and see how much artistic work still goes into animation. Instead of drawing, artists are now Digitally sculpting, modeling, rigging, simulating, painting, and animating using the same principles that were developed by their predecessors.
