I always say Happy Holidays. All I am saying, responding to Merry Christmas, with Thank you, happy holidays to you too will win you a lot more supporters and open a lot more eyes to how nice it is to be inclusive than sneering and saying how offended you are. Things have been done a certain way for many people for many years. Not that it makes it “right”, it doesn’t, but by attacking it, you put people on the defensive and they can’t hear you anymore.
Mr Grinch hate hate hate double hate loathe entirely shirt
Cool idea and all but they could have made this so much better. Should’ve turned it into a whole production. Grinch starts resisting arrest and gets tased. Cindy Lou Hoo, traumatized at witnessing this, denounces Christmas for being a religious holiday and then when she grows up we get a gritty reboot on how she becomes the new Grinch. C’mon Cops, step your drama game up. Mr Grinch hate hate hate double hate loathe entirely. I am an atheist, I never get mad. I say happy holidays but I don’t get mad when someone says Merry Christmas to me. Christmas IS a day, whether you believe it’s significance or not. And if they want mine to be merry I’ll take it. I’ll also take Happy Hannukah, Happy Thursday, Happy Saturnalia, whatever people want to wish me, as long as it comes with good intentions.

Be love Mr. Grinch with our shirts!
I cannot get upset about it. If they go, “Hey you Heathen, Have a Merry Christmas!” then yeah I would be offended, but that was not meant with good intentions. And when we react with anger then people get put on the defensive and feel their beliefs are being “attacked”. When we react with THank you, and happy holidays to you too, then we have both sent each other good wishes. And speak our own truths. More likely to make people aware that way.
