I’ve never burnt a letter to Father Christmas before. Letters go via Royal Mail.I thought burning letters was a more Scandinavian thing. Also, presents go under the tree and little presents in the stocking.
Meowy Catmas Pur Pur Christmas shirt
England- we have always written to Santa (and now even email) never burned letters. Presents always go under the tree- mine did as a child and my children do now. They also have stockings. Lights- possibly not as many as America but people do decorations inside and completely all over outside their homes. Meowy Catmas Pur Pur Christmas. Our towns and cities are decorated and have huge trees. Trees in our homes are big and beautiful if you want them to be. And I’ve never heard anyone say merry crimbo. Yes, i have heard the word crimbo but not to greet anyone. Turkey is the tradition for dinner however many have what they chose. The article is incorrectly written. Maybe as a bit of tongue in cheek? But it makes Christmas look rubbish in England – and actually, it isn’t. It is amazing. Maybe more lights and bigger houses in America etc which is great and one day I would love to visit at Christmas time. But here in little old England we have a very canny Christmas indeed
