We aren’t perfect. We have a dirty past and present but all things considered were doing pretty damn good. I think if we could return It’s not a dad bob it’s a father figure shirt to our self sufficient individualistic attitude instead of the government is the cure for everything collectivist mentality we could be a lot better.
It’s not a dad bob it’s a father figure shirt
Sadly it’s also a narrative that’s taught in lots of schools. They teach kids about how evil America is. This anti-American shit is getting tiresome. We’re the greatest country. That’s not some patriotic boast. That’s proven by the countless people who risk everything to come here. We have freedoms others can only dream of. Even Europe and Canada don’t have freedom of speech. We’re one of the few countries in which any foreigner can come to and become part of our country. A Japanese person can come here and become American but an American can never become Japanese no matter what they do.
We have a foreign policy that tries to combine self-interest and helping others while others’ policies are only self-interest. We give aid to almost every single country in the world. My apprentice at the moment is a millennial who said that if you travel to other countries they see us as the villain. It’s not a dad bob it’s a father figure shirt He’s never been to another country so I’m guessing he learned this in school. I’ve been to several foreign countries and everyone revered America. kid was being rude but I see the point he’s trying to make. Whether it applies to you, I don’t know. There are lots of people from poor countries who’ve lost any respect for us they had. When they’re starving, are ruled by a dictator, can’t get any education or jobs and see rich Americans complaining about free college, $15/hr min wage, factory farming, and crying because their candidate didn’t win the election, I’m sure they don’t have much sympathy.
Get it and hang out with it
