I love that act of kindness. Warms my heart. Much better than hearing about and seeing all of the wicked and negative things going on in the world. I’m a proud daddy of a pretty daughter if you make her cry i will make you bleed. Wonderful the young lady saved the ducklings. But police officers, as well as firefighters, put their lives on the line every day. For numerous different situations. The young lady looked as clean go in as she did coming out.

Yes, they do it every day so it is the norm for them but she is a regular citizen doing it which is why it is an extraordinary thing she did. And mind you, the police officer was right there and didn’t climb in tho much thanks to them for what they risk every day. Those police officers couldn’t help her up out of the hole. She had to pull herself up out of the hole. I’m a proud daddy of a pretty daughter if you make her cry i will make you bleed. Then as she tried to stand up then he going to reach out his hand. Really! Good job young lady you did that all by yourself. This is wonderful. Blacks, whites, cops working together for a higher good. Thing is, while Memphis has its issues, beautiful stuff like this happens more often than any realizes. with protective gear and shoes should have let her go down a drain bc as you know bc ur smart there are all types of diseases from sewer water that goes thru drains! So him being a cop should have stopped her and got animal control to do it or did it himself! You want to take up for the dumb cop be my guest but I dont assume

She may have begged the officer to let her go down and get the ducklings. We don’t know what went on before the rescue. She could have been a vet or an off-duty policewoman. Don’t always assume. I remember I was at my families townhouse and some of us went out to walk around the lake they had. We walked by what this women is in and I was the only one that heard quacking. I stopped and had everyone take a look and sure enough there were baby ducks. We called animal control and I was able to get in their and help! They were covered in oil so we put them in a basket, took them home and gave them a dawn dish bath. As soon as they had their bath, we set them free by the lake. Soon enough, their mother came by and took it from there
