I love the handy hints. I’ve learned a lot from them. I also like to read the comments hen they aren’t so negative. I don’t understand why you don’t just skip. If I like you I bake for you. I know! If I had to do that, I would have some icing roses made ahead of time to put down to cover the holes

If you want people to watch the full video, don’t start out with a “hack” as dumb as the cupcake thing. Who has a dozen mason jars unused so can use the screw top part but doesn’t have a cupcake pan??? And the cupcakes that came out would be so embarrassing – they’re falling over and totally misshapen. If I like you I bake for you. Everyone here is caught up on the jar rings, but I can’t stop thinking about how she’s going to fix the holes in the icing from the skewers. If you have a good buttercream it should either get cold in the fridge or crust at room temp. then can be covered lightly without getting messed up. I’ve got a crap ton of mason jars, but that’s a terrible way to use the rings. You can tell by looking at the finished product that the cupcakes didn’t bake evenly because they are surrounded by metal only halfway to a third up the paper.
Keep your style in here!
I just dump the icing/frosting mix into a ziplock, roll it, and cut the corner off. No mess and it’s cheaper than buying the specially made bags. Masking tape could easily hold an icing tip onto the zip lock if you need the fancier shapes. For real just get a muffin pan. And just use a ziploc bag with the corner cut off for a piping bag if you don’t have the legit ones at home
Just use a cupcake pan, microwave your butter, that icing looks very runny and how is that any easier to clean up, and your going to have holes in your cake now I just set my butter on top of the stove under the vent while it preheats and turn it a few times so it’s evenly softened. Easy to do and I don’t have to worry about it melting.
