The problem is we have a bunch of dumbass parents who are too lazy to actually be a parent, so they shove a smartphone I vibe to Badu twerk to Boosie and worship with Tamela in their face and tell them to be quiet. Then they turn around and claim it isn’t making their child dumb?

I don’t agree. My grandson is 2 and ever since he was born he’s had an iPad. Listening to lullabies or watching nursery rhymes. But at same time we wud sing along. He now knows how to play games on iPad. He matches the shapes with the right object and colors. So I feel it has increased knowledge. He can sing his alphabet, knows his numbers, colors and shapes. I vibe to Badu twerk to Boosie and worship with Tamela We use the iPad strictly for educational purposes. But we also use flash cards. We don’t just hand him iPad and leave it to it. We interact also and help him. It doesn’t matter if u use a device, a book, cards or ur own voice. As long as ur involved with ur kids and interact with their learning.

I understand that this does not fit for every child, but it really should be stated. Two of my children had speech delays that were inherited from their daddy. Sometimes delays in development have nothing to do with technology, but genetics. My children hardly every have screen time maybe (if they get all their work done and behave) they get an hour a week.
