My dad was calm, collected one, my mom was so nervous and shrieky that I couldn’t concentrate. I definitely didn’t learn how to drive from her! My mom gave me my first driving lesson when I was 10 yrs old. I say that if you teach them at a young age to drive the less worried you’ll be. Because they’ve had yrs of practice. I have never been in an accident.
I’m proud of many things in my life but nothing beats being a dad shirt
When I first got my permit, my dad kept pressing down the floor of my passenger seat in a habit to press the breaks. Then he’d put his hand on his chest and said: “good god you almost killed me”. But growing up I had big cars and trucks of my dads to practice. Yeaaaa bumped a few things. And I couldn’t drive a stick if there was a gun to me.

Proud of yourself with our tee!
I’m proud of many things in my life but nothing beats being a dad. My dad was not allowed in the car with me while I was learning. Not after he caused my brother to take out a bush and street sign while he was learning. Nope, my mom was my teacher. She’s the sane driver between my parents. Eventually, on the rare occasion when both parents were in the car with me, mom and I would tell him “sit in the back and shut up”. I taught both my girls how to drive. My husband was going to give our oldest daughter a driving lesson, but his nerves couldn’t take it and they were both homes within fifteen minutes. He tossed me the keys and said never again. That was the one and only time he tried to teach one of our kids to drive. My father would teach me to drive we would take back roads through Missouri and I would take him to his VA appointments and when he would leave he would be dizzy and disorienting so it’s pretty much on me to get all the way back and drive safe lol I miss you Dad thank you for so much that you have taught me
