I miss those times in music and in culture .I will always be greatfull to live in the 80 ‘s Hands down the best Decade to be young and alive. the 80’s cannot and will never duplicated the best time ever and the greatest music of all time was created in the 80’s I was born in 1985 so the 80s are vague memories. The 90s was the greatest though! Especially 1998 which had the greatest music. Cousin Eddie merry Christmas shitter was full Can’t believe it’s been 20 years ago. Man Rick James was a legend, rip. Some say on the right night, at sunset you can catch a glimpse of that perm drinking whiskey straight with an 8-ball in hand on rodeo Blvd.
Rick partied way hard from what I heard! Him & my uncle were mad cool. His name is Gordon Banks… Marvin Gaye’s guitarist. He also played on this song & Eddie Murphy’s album “How Could It Be” Wish I could’ve been there.. I can hear and understand the words. Not screaming or cussing and the background music is just perfect. Didn’t know Eddie Murphy sings, love it and also with Rick James joining him. Good music from the old (not so old ) days. It’s such a cheesy song, but I love it. I really like 80’s music. And having Rick James aka Mr. Superfreak, just too funny. I think I might’ve just dated myself and told everybody my true age by posting those statements.
