Einstein flip-flopped several times about the existence of gravity waves. But in the end, I think he gave them a thumbs up. But he wasn’t all that sure about them. Einstein was not a genius of economics or social policy. Would you be ok with an archaeologist performing heart surgery on you because he’s a genius in one field of study? Of course not.
Come to the math side we have Pi shirt
I thought that Einstein spent much time sitting still and being quiet and used his intuition to come up with his theories. He was a good mathematician too but sometimes needed help with the mathematics. I think his real gift was his intuitive mind. Come to the math side we have Pi. He did need help with math. He needs help with tensor calculus, but in solving the equations for General Relativity, He bettered Hilbert who admitted it so proved his aptitude in mathematics also. As a child, he thought that it would be to ride a beam of light.

There are too many citations of Einstein declaring that he does believe in the creator, but not in religion. He wasn’t an atheist. Also, there is no meaningful difference between the knowledge of our time and in his time that u could assume that would change his mind. Calculus was invented two centuries before Einstein by a man named Newton. The book he published is called The Principia and is one of the cornerstones of modern mathematics. But unless Einstein traveled faster than light, he never met Newton.
