Stories like this amaze me. Im amazed some people are so insensitive while others are so compassionate. I love all of the comments. Cat I would slap the stupid out but there wouldn’t be anything left. People standing up for their kids is what its all about. Get up stand up stand up for your rights
Cat I would slap the stupid out but there wouldn’t be anything left shirt
I was at a trampoline park where I took my 2 year old. She took off her socks,( I can never make her understand to keep them on) anyways so right away an African American associate told me “she has to keep socks on at all times.” I quickly turned to the cute white baby who was running and jumping on the trampoline and calmly asked her, why isn’t she wearing socks? Cat I would slap the stupid out but there wouldn’t be anything left. She told me,” she’s not even jumping and she’s smaller.” Mind you my daughter gets therapy and can’t even jump or run properly. This baby was doing it better so I had to pull the autism card which I hate doing! And she backed off. Ughh I would’ve been more understanding if she had made that family put socks on that baby too.
Get it now and be happy!
I have three kids on the spectrum but I don’t get offended by others comments about my children. Mostly because true, she didn’t know your child had autism and it was an accident, but there are a lot of kids out there brought up poorly. They are everywhere running barefoot noisily through the store and banging into people. We were at the library today with a child screaming and cutting in front of people and mom oblivious on her phone. The incident obviously didn’t traumatize the child and maybe that grumpy lady has had one two many run ins with undisciplined little brats. I’ve had a supposed “family” member who claims to love my son basically use his learning process as a tool to teach her own child… that right there is pure ignorance. To teach your child that all kids are the same is what gets me so irate. I’m an advocate for my son with autism so I will say something in his defense, respectfully…because the awareness DOES matter.
